Rental Terms and Conditions Algarve Direkt Car Hire Portugal.

--- RENTAL CONDITIONS ---
DRIVERS AGE All drivers must be at least 23 years old. 
DRIVER’S LICENCE All drivers must present a valid driving licence held for at least 12 months.

--- INCLUSIVE ---
FULL INSURANCE All our rates include FULLY COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE consisting of Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection Insurance and 3rd Party Insurance. 

There is a small deductible on this insurance - 
Group S,A,b,c, 750 euro, you can pay 6 euro extra a day
Group,e,w, 1000 euro, you can pay 8,75 euro extra a day
Group e,f,i,L 1250 euro, you can pay 8,75 euro extra a day
Group g,x 1500 euro, you can pay 10,77 euro extra a day
Group H, 1750 euro, you can pay 14,59 euro extra a day
+ V.A.T. 19 %

The V.A.T. of 19% is included UNLIMITED MILEAGE WITHIN PORTUGAL AND SPAIN
All our rates include unlimited Kms within Portugal and Spain, although an extra insurance charge of Euro 66.00 is required for travel to Spain.

ONE-WAY RENTALS WITHIN PORTUGAL You may collect any vehicle from any of our 23 locations and return it to another. Within Portugal vehicles may be rented one-way without extra supplement for rentals of 3 days and more.

NEW VEHICLES The vast majority of vehicles is no older than one year, with the usual exception of 7st MPV, Cabriolets, Automatics and Minibuses which may be maximum 3 years old.

All vehicles are cleaned prior to each rental and are regularly maintained.

FREE DELIVERY You can choose to have your vehicle delivered throughout Portugal at no extra charge.

24HR ROADSIDE EMERGENCY SERVICE Includes a 24hr roadside emergency mechanical breakdown service throughout Portugal.

NO CANCELLATION FEE If your plans change and you need to cancel your vehicle rental we will offer a full refund up to 8 hours before the time of rental.

--- ADDITIONAL EXTRAS ---
INSURANCE OF WHEELS, TYRES, LOCKS, KEYS OR GLASS Insurance cover for damage to or replacement wheels, tyres, locks or glass are not covered under any insurance policy offered by car hire companies.

NIGHT TIME SERVICE If you arrive at the airports of Faro, Lisbon, Porto or need a car delivered between 23:00 hrs and 08:00 hrs you'll be charged a surcharge of Euro 25,00 to be paid at the local office.

INSURANCE EXCESS VALUE The insurance has an 'Insurance excess Value', this means that if the renter suffers an accident, he will be responsible for a certain first amount to repair the damage. See excess details in the rental terms section.
BUYING-OUT THE EXCESS VALUE (SUPER CDW) The client may also buy-out the insurance excess value, this to be done at the office where you get your car.

CHILD SEATS You can book child seats as well as booster seats in advance.
The rate for either is 5 Euro per day (about 3 £).

EXTRA DRIVERS You can add additional drivers at the time of rental. The rate per additional driver is 15 Euro per rental (about 9 £).
AIRPORT TAX The airtport tax is not included and is 23.15 incl VAT
